There were a lot of jolly kicks on court when the Boston Celtics played the Brooklyn Nets on Christmas Day last year but it was Beantown's main man Rajon Rondo who stole the show with his new PE Nike Air Max Hyperposites. Graced in mint through the Foamposite base, Grey surrounds the laces and is splattered with Christmassy crimson and more mistletoe mint. Following the pattern, the crimson continues flowing into the lining, and rests aboard a 360 degree translucent Max Air bag. While this is not an exact replica of the PE, it's about as close as we're going to get, with Nike looking at a possible release before the end of Summer. Keep your fingers on the trigger as we keep you up to date with all the release info. Pics via Long-7.
Nike has been on a NFL off-season mini rampage. We showed you the Oakland Raiders Air Trainer Max earlier today, now we're taking a stroll down South Beach way for another Miami-style masterpiece. This Air Trainer SC II looks like the coolest fish to never exist, with tiger stripe slashes on the heel panel threatening to gobble you up, while teal, orange and white chill hard all over the upper. It's almost fitting that the brainchild of a former Sex Pistols member and one of the emcees from House of Pain would be called the Hell Fire Canyon Club (HFCC). Taking its name from a ring within London's 18th century nobility that engaged in illicit acts, the HFCC is a brand dedicated to celebrating the heritage of American and European motorcycle culture. No stranger to heritage goods itself, Boylston Trading Company teamed up with HFFC and Bell Helmets to release a special collaborative set. The range includes a T-shirt and limited edition helmet, both of which are printed with an adjusted seal of Boston that beckons back to the city's history. Look for the goods, available now, on Boylston Trading Company's website.
